Installation & Setup
Do I need Python or any technical software installed?
No. Sheet Merger Pro is a standalone .exe file. Download and double-click to run. No Python, no installation wizard, no dependencies required.
Windows says the app is unsafe. Should I worry?
No. Click More info then Run anyway. This warning appears because the software does not yet have a paid Microsoft code signing certificate. It is completely safe to run.
What operating systems are supported?
Windows 10 and Windows 11 (64-bit). Mac and Linux are not currently supported.
What file types does it support?
.xlsx, .xls, .csv and .tsv files. You can mix and match Excel and CSV files in the same merge operation.
Trial Version
What are the limitations of the free trial?
The free trial lasts 7 days and includes: maximum 3 files per merge, maximum 100 rows per export, and basic merge types only. Smart Auto-Map, Data Validation, Split & Export and Merge Presets are locked in the trial.
What happens when the trial expires?
The app shows an activation screen. Your settings are preserved. Purchase a license to continue.
License & Activation
How does the license key work?
After purchasing on Gumroad, a unique license key is emailed to you within minutes. Open the app, enter your email and key, click Activate. The app unlocks permanently on that computer.
I lost my license key. Can I get it again?
Yes. Email sheetmergerpro@gmail.com with your purchase email and we will resend it free of charge.
Can I use it on multiple computers?
Each license covers one computer. Contact us if you need to move to a new machine.
Annual vs Lifetime — what is the difference?
Annual ($29) is valid for 12 months then requires renewal. Lifetime ($79) is a one-time payment with no renewal ever required.
Using the Software
My files have different column names. Will it merge correctly?
Yes. Use Smart Auto-Map before merging. It automatically detects and unifies similar column names across all your files.
How large a file can I merge?
No built-in row or file size limit in the full version. Files with up to 100,000 rows merge comfortably on most modern PCs.
My Excel file has multiple sheets. Which one is used?
When you add a multi-sheet Excel file, Sheet Merger Pro shows a sheet selector so you can choose which sheet to import.

Is my data safe? Does anything get uploaded?
Your data never leaves your computer. Sheet Merger Pro works 100% offline. Nothing is ever uploaded. See our Privacy Policy.
Can I use it with confidential business data?
Yes. Everything is processed locally so it is completely safe to use with confidential, financial, legal or personal data.
